You can play MP3 and WMA files with the multimedia system. The files can be stored on DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW or SD card. CD-RW discs should be formatted with the "Full" option so that they can be read. MP3 files with a maximum bit rate of 320 kbps and a sampling frequency of 48 kHz can be played. MP3 files must have the extension ". mp3", while WMA files must have the extension ". wma" in order to be read by the multimedia system. The following information and functions appear in the MP3/WMA menu: 1. Touch this area to call up the main menu. Display of the previous folder on the disc or SD card 9. Display of the next folder on the disc or SD card 10. Display of the number pad for entering the track number directly 16. Display of the medium (DVD, CD, SD), the current track number (file) and the total number of tracks (files) on the current disc or SD card 17. Display of the current volume setting 20. Display of the ID3 tag with MP3 playback Playing MP3/WMA files When an MP3/WMA disc or SD card is inserted, all files and folders are played sequentially. iPod playback
Switching to iPod Press the MODE button on the TFT monitor repeatedly until "iPod" is displayed in the upper section of the screen. Or: On the touchscreen, touch the iPod symbol in the main menu. [. . . ] Audio/output front "LINE OUT FRONT L&R": A power amplifier and additional loudspeakers can be linked to the unit via this connection. In multi-zone operation, the front unit's audio signal is played via this output.
