The MAILBOX LED's (1, 2, 3 and Public) indicate the status of messages in each mailbox . Upon receiving new messages, the corresponding MAILBOX LED's will flash indicating that new messages are waiting. The MAILBOX LED remains on steadily if there are old messages inside a particular mailbox. Otherwise the MAILBOX LED remains off when no messages are present. ON LED

ITAD BASE KEYPAD FUNCTIONS
· Use the MAILBOX key to select the desired mailbox, either for message/ memo pl ayback or for memo recording. · MAILBOX "name" is announced during the current mailbox selection. Each press of the MAILBOX key selects the next mailbox option in the following order: 1>2>3>Public>1>2. . . . · If the MAILBOX key is not pressed for 4 seconds, the ITAD will return to normal operation mode, and the default selection is Public Mailbox.

· This key is used to turn ON and OFF the ITAD. While in the OFF mode, the cordless phone will still operate normally, but will not answer calls. · When the ITAD is ON, the ON LED is on. · Regardless of whether the ITAD is ON or OFF, the MAILBOX LED's and the FULL LED are still functioning. · W h e n O F F, t h e I TA D c a n b e reactivated remotely by 10 successive rings on an incoming call. MAILBOX KEY · The ITAD stores the messages into different mailboxes for retrieval by the corresponding mailbox user. For example, Mailbox 1 is for John, Mailbox 2 is for Jane, etc.

· The RECORD/MEMO key is used to record memos at the base unit into the current selected mailbox. The maximum record time is 1 minute.

ITAD BASE KEYPAD FUNCTIONS
· Press and hold the RECORD/MEMO key until you hear, "Now recording". · Stop recording by pressing the STOP key again. · If you go beyond the 1 minute limit, or if there is 7 seconds of silence, the ITAD will automatically stop and you will hear, "End of recording". MENU KEY · Pressing SELECT again will confirm the current setting or advance to the next setting, if applicable.

Each time you press MENU, the ITAD settings will be announced in the following order: · Outgoing Message 1 · Outgoing Message 2 · Set Security Code · Set Audible Message Alert · Set Day and Time · Set Incoming Message Length · Set Number of Rings --Program the desired setting when you hear the appropriate voice option. (See ITAD Setup) SELECT KEY · After you enter Program Mode, pressing SELECT will announce the current setting of the selected menu function.
