1. Slide the On/Off Activity Selector to Quiz. You will hear a short tune followed by "Let's test your brain gears!"
2. Press the Letter button to answer questions about letters, press the Letter Sound button to answer questions about letter sounds, or press the Picture button to answer questions about words. For example, you will hear "Can you find the A?"

3. Slide up or pull down the lever to scroll through the pictures to select the correct answer. When you have selected your answer, press the Enter button. 4. Press the Help button to hear clues that will help guide you to the correct answer. 5. You will have 3 chances to select the correct answer. If an incorrect answer is selected, you will hear a sound effect followed by a clue that will help guide you to the correct answer.

2. Slide up or pull down the lever to scroll through the pictures. Stop on any of the screens to hear a melody. There are 13 different melodies in this activity. BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit. Use a coin or screwdriver to loosen the screw.
3. Install 3 new "AA" (UM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance. )
4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure the battery cover. NOTE: Due to the scrolling mechanism, this product requires frequent battery replacement. When the scrolling screen functions slowly, please replace with a new set of batteries.
