BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit. [. . . ] The unit should now be ready to play again. TO BEGIN PLAY
1. Press the ON/OFF BUTTON on the tail once to turn the unit ON. You will hear a dragon sound effect, "I'm Drake the dragon", a giggle sound effect, and "It's play time!". The light will flash with the sound.

2. Press the ON/OFF BUTTON again to turn the unit OFF. You will hear "It's sleepy time", a dragon sound effect, and a short tune. The light will flash with the sound.

AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
To preserve battery life, the VTECH® Baby DrakeTM learning toy will automatically turn off after several minutes without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button.
ACTIVITIES
1. Squeeze the NUMBER body once to hear "One", a cute sound effect, and a melody. Squeeze the NUMBER body a second time to hear "Two", a cute sound effect, and a melody. The sound effect will play along with the melody. Squeeze the NUMBER body a third time to hear "Three", a cute sound effect, and a melody. Squeeze the LETTER body once to hear "A", a cute sound effect, and a melody. The sound effect will play along with the melody. Squeeze the LETTER body a second time to hear "B", a cute sound effect, and a melody. Squeeze the LETTER body a third time to hear "C", a cute sound effect, and a melody. [. . . ] Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended period of time. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
