Instructions & Activities 4 PRODUCT FEATURES 1. ON/OFF VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH To turn the unit on, slide the ON/OFF VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH to the LOW VOLUME ( ) or the HIGH ) position. If there is no input after approximately 15 seconds, you will hear phone sounds. If there is no input after another 15 seconds, you will hear a ringing sound followed by "Hello" in the selected language. Then the unit will automatically turn off. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button. Instructions & Activities 5 ACTIVITIES 1. Turn the language selection dial to select a language. You can choose from the following languages: English German Spanish French Once the language has been selected, press the buttons, slide the beads or pick up the handset to hear a response related to the selected language. The object button will light up with the sound. 2. Turn the key to hear one of three melodies associated with the selected language. The object button will light up with the melody. 3. Move the joystick up and down to randomly select an object button. The lights will flash and then stop on one of the objects. The word will be identified followed by a corresponding sound.
