NOTE: If for some reason the program/activity stops working, then please follow these steps: 1. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries. The unit should now be ready to play again. The lights will flash with the sound. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF To preserve battery life, the VTech® Storytime SurpriseTM learning toy will automatically turn off after several minutes without input. It can be turned on again by pressing any button or opening the book. When the book is closed, press one of the LIGHT UP CHARACTER BUTTONS to hear a phrase followed by a short tune.
