Use the up and down navigation buttons to select a Settings category, then press ENTER. The options menu for that category opens (for example, Music Repeat Mode). PLAYING MUSIC ­ 33 WD ELEMENTS PLAY MULTIMEDIA DRIVE USER MANUAL Playing Music From Your iPod® Apple® uses a proprietary naming scheme and because of this the multimedia drive is unable to display the original names for the folders and files as they are in your iPod. The multimedia drive instead reassigns new names for the folders and files, but only while in use with the multimedia drive. The original file information is preserved in your iPod. You can view the original file information when you play a file where the screen displays the metadata. Note: The multimedia drive does not support playback of protected premium content such as movies or music from the iTunes® Store, Cinema Now, Movielink®, Amazon UnboxTM, and Vongo®. To use your iPod with the multimedia drive, simply plug your iPod in to the USB port and navigate through the interface menu. Note: The multimedia drive only supports USB mass storage mode. iPod Touch is not a USB mass storage device and is therefore not supported. It's perfect for sharing fun times with your friends and family. The following image file formats are supported: GIF (Animated GIFs are not supported) BMP (non-compressed) JPEG (grayscale, RGB, YCbCy) TIF/TIFF (RGB) PNG (Non-alpha channel only) Photo Display 1. Select the Photos icon, then press ENTER. 2. Press either or to select the multimedia drive or optional attached USB storage device (location you want to access photo files from), then press ENTER. Only image files supported by the multimedia drive are displayed. 4. Locate the picture file you want to view. To open a single picture file for viewing, select the file, and then press ENTER. To view the next picture file in the photo folder, press NEXT (photo). To view the previous picture file in the photo folder, press PREV (previous). Photo Display Options The Picture toolbar has several command icons to customize the way you view your pictures. To display the Picture toolbar, press OPTION. To hide the toolbar, press BACK or OPTION again. Rotating the Picture Use these options to rotate the image clockwise or counter-clockwise.
