[. . . ] Inside light 3 USING THE APPLIANCE FIRST USE Connect the appliance to the power supply (refer to the Installation manual). When connecting the appliance to the power supply, the display will show the temperatures preset by the manufacturer. If the temperature indicator appears, accompanied by the acoustic alarm (which means that the long black-out alarm has been activated), press the alarm reset button. Note: After switching the appliance on, it will be necessary to wait for 2 to 3 hours before a temperature suitable for a standard appliance load is reached. [. . . ] GUIDE TO SELECTING FUNCTIONS Freezer temperature The factory-set ideal temperature is -18°C. To change the temperature, press the freezer temp. button until the display shows the required value. Refrigerator temperature The factory-set ideal temperature is +5°C. To change the temperature, press the fridge temp. button until the display shows the required value. Fast freezing This function must be activated before freezing fresh food. To activate the function, press the fast freezing button until the symbol lights up. The function is automatically deactivated after 24 hours, or manually by pressing again the button. Freezer door anti-condensation device (stainless steel model only) Should any condensation form on the edge of the freezer door, press the fast freezing and the reset alarm pushbuttons at the same time for 3 seconds, until an acoustic alarm is heard. To deactivate the function repeat the procedure until 3 short beeps are heard. Eco mode This optional function can be used to save energy. It is important to remember that this function does not disconnect the appliance from the power supply. To activate it, press both the RESET and the CHILD LOCK button for 5 minutes until the display goes off and the symbol comes on. Whenever the control panel is used the display will come on fully for 15 seconds, after which time it will go off again, with the ECO icon remaining visible. To reinstate normal operating condition repeat the same operation until the display shows the previously set temperatures. ALARMS In the event of an alarm, the acoustic alarm and indicator lights are activated. Important: To disable the acoustic signal, press the reset alarm button.
