Upper and lower rack Upper rack Lower rack How to use the dishwasher 1. After loading the dishwasher, turn on the water supply tap. Select the desired programme by pressing the corresponding button. Close the door of the dishwasher: the wash programme will start automatically. [. . . ] To change the selected programme (Reset), open the door (caution: danger of scalding from steam!) and hold down the “Intensive” and “Bio Normal” programme buttons. Select the new programme and press the On/Off button again. When the dishwasher door is closed, the wash programme starts automatically. Only open the dishwasher door if strictly necessary during a wash cycle and exercise maximum caution. To indicate the end of a programme, the “End” light on the progress indicator lights up and an acoustic signal is activated (if fitted). Wait until the “End” light turns on before opening the door and turning the dishwasher off by pressing the On/Off button (caution: beware of hot steam). Unload the lower rack before the upper one. Close the water tap. Rack height adjustment: The rack can be raised or lowered by positioning it on the top or bottom roller guides, should it be necessary to create more space in the top or bottom rack to allow loading of large pieces of crockery. Arrange large crockery in the lower rack and smaller crockery in the upper rack. • The water jets must spray the entire surface of all items. • Make sure that crockery and cutlery are arranged properly. • Have you selected the correct programme? • Did you use too much or too little detergent?(The use of poor quality detergents may result in less effective washing). • Are the filters clogged or incorrectly assembled?(See “Care and Maintenance” chapter in the user instructions). • Are the spray arms blocked or the nozzles clogged?(See “Care and Maintenance” chapter in the user instructions). • Is the lower spray arm correctly fitted?
