B Yellow light: indicates that the rapid freeze function is in operation. C Red light: flashes to indicate that the temperature inside the freezer has risen to unacceptable values. D E F G Freezer on/off button. Button for adjusting the internal temperature. Acoustic alarm mute button. Starting up the freezer 1. • Each time the button is pressed, the temperature is modified by 1°C: the value varies cyclically between -16°C and -24°C. • Five seconds after the button has been pressed for the last time, the temperature set is stored, the display stops flashing and the current internal temperature is displayed . Note: The digital display displays internal temperature values between +10°C and -24°C. Selected functions are retained in the memory even during power failures. Rapid freezing The rapid freeze function is automatically deactivated after 48 hours. Alarm indications Indication Door open alarm Temperature alarm Acoustic alarm activated The acoustic alarm and red light C are activated Cause The door has been left open for more than one minute Internal temperature is higher than -12°C Solution Shut the door Press button G and wait for the temperature to fall below -12°C Contact Customer Service. Press button G; the display now indicates the current internal temperature. Temperature alarm sensor Prolonged power failure alarm The acoustic alarm is activated and the display shows "SF" The acoustic alarm and red light C are activated; the display flashes indicating the highest temperature reached following the power failure. Temperature sensor fault Prolonged lack of power supply, causing the internal temperature to rise to very high values at which proper food storage cannot be guaranteed Note: The temperature alarm is also activated if the door is left open for a long period or after fresh food has been placed in the freezer compartment; the temporary rise in temperature does not affect perfect storage of already frozen foods.
