The minute counter can be used when the cooktop is being used, for cooking needs, and when the product is switched off for needs not directly linked to the cooktop. Instead the timer can operate directly on the burner, turning it off automatically at the end of the set time. The timer can be used both with a burner turned off, and with a burner already lit, where cooking is taking place, just by turning the corresponding knob: this function can be useful when cooking must continue for a set number of minutes once the water is boiling. [. . . ] Switch off the cooktop by pressing button . N. B. : — If the burner goes out automatically (draught, spilt liquids, etc. ) the burner relights automatically.
— If this happens too often, the cooktop recognises the abnormal situation, turns off the burner involved, sounds a warning and flashes “0”. In this case turn the knob to “0”. — If at the end of cooking the cooktop is not switched off by pressing button , after a few minutes pilot light begins to flash and an acoustic signal is given, until the cooktop is switched off. — This obligatory switching off function reduces the consumption of electricity when the product is not working and also makes sure that the product cannot be switched on by accident (knocking the knobs, faults, etc. . . . ) — If the cooktop is used for too long, the display indicates “H” and the cooktop switches off until the electronic components cool down. The indication “H” then flashes. Turn the knob to “0” and light the burners again, if necessary.

If the burners will not light • The burner will automatically stop within 22 seconds. • One of pilot lights or flashes and an acoustic signal sounds. • Turn the knob back to “0”. • Look for the cause (see “Trouble Shooting Guide” in the separate instruction booklet) and repeat the lighting operations. If the system stops one of the burners: • Turn the burner off and turn the knob back to “0”. • Look for the cause (see “Trouble Shooting Guide” in the separate instruction booklet). To switch off all the burners at the same time in an emergency (e. g. food spills over, etc. ): • Press button . The pilot lights of the lit burners flash. • Remember to put all the knobs back to “0” because if the cooktop is used again and the knobs have not been zeroed, a buzzer will sound.
2) Turn the burner knob to the position required before the pilot lights go out. The pilot light corresponding to the burner chosen lights up. N. B. : If the knobs are not turned before the pilot lights go out, the minute counter function is switched on. [. . . ] The set time appears on display and the 4 pilot lights and come on for a few seconds.
AUTOMATIC SEARCH AND SETTING OF THE MINIMUM
• Turn the burner control knob to symbol . After a few seconds small bars light up on display and the residual heat pilot light flashes for a few seconds until the search is complete, confirmed by an acoustic signal. The burner searches for the minimum and set it automatically. If the knob is positioned on the automatic search and setting of the minimum, the burner lights again until the gas has reached the correct flow rate.
