When frying never leave pans unattended as there is the risk of the oil overheating and catching fire. If reusing frying oil the fire risk is greater. Never prepare flambÈ (flame cooked food) dishes under the hood. The air ducted by the hood must not be conveyed into a flue used for other appliances that run off other energy supplies different to electricity.
