ASSEMBLY
This appliance has been designed to operate at a room temperature of between +16°C and + 32°C (class N). If the room temperature exceeds +32°C, the internal temperature of the appliance may rise. If the room temperature falls below +10°C, appliance performance will be affected. Avoid using the appliance at temperatures below +5°C. Locate the appliance away from sources of heat, being careful not to hinder the free flow of air around the appliance; any obstruction will bring the entire refrigerating system into operation, leading to higher power consumption. After locating the appliance in the desired position on a level surface, bring it to a horizontal position by turning the front feet clockwise or anticlockwise until a good contact with the floor is obtained. Correct adjustment of the feet avoids vibration and excessive noise. Assemble the lower crosspiece and two condenser stops as shown in the diagrams.
MAINS CONNECTION
The appliance is designed to at a single-phase voltage of 220-230V, 50 Hz. Before connecting the appliance to the mains, be sure that the mains voltage, current type and frequency comply with those of the appliance as specified on the technical data label.

Before starting up the appliance clean the inside (see chapter “Cleaning”). When cleaning is finished, connect the appliance to the mains, open the door (the lamp should be illuminated) and adjust the thermostat knob to a medium position. Leave the appliance running empty for approximately 2 hours. Fresh foods can be frozen after a minimum of 12 working hours.

ADJUSTING THE TEMPERATURE Refrigerator The internal temperature may be adjusted by means of the thermostat knob. The temperature inside the appliance may vary depending on the conditions of use: location, room temperature, the frequency with which the doors are opened and the quantity of food stored and the thermostat knob should be adjusted accordingly. As a general rule, the thermostat knob should be set to a medium position for a room temperature of 25°C.
The thermostat also assures the automatic defrosting of the refrigerator. During defrosting, the temperature inside the refrigerator may rise to +8°C, but decreases to 2-3°C during the freezing period, bringing the average temperatures over the whole working cycle to about +5°C. Avoid setting the thermostat knob at too low a temperature, causing the appliance to run continuously.
