[. . . ] The manufacturer reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary or useful to its products without altering the basic features. No part of this publication may be reproduced or photocopied without prior permission from the manufacturer. 2 1. GENERAL WARNINGS Only qualified installers and staff authorised by the manufacturer may perform the installation, start-up and maintenance work to the appliance. Read these instructions carefully beforehand, as they are very important for safety when installing, using and servicing the appliance. [. . . ] Current building and fire prevention provisions; 2. Current accident-prevention standards; 3. Installation provisions, CEI STANDARDS. 5) ELECTRIC AND EQUIPOTENTIAL WIRING To reach the terminal block, remove the vertical panel on the right side of the unit. The main switch upstream from the appliance must be in an easily reached position close to the appliance itself. The installer must be supplied with the suitable electric lead (H05 RN-F5x1. 5mm²), which must be firmly fixed in the cable clamp. The single wires must be joined to the corresponding terminals; the earth wire must be longer than the others to ensure that it can only be disconnected in the event of pulling, after the power wires have been disconnected. Appliance safety is only guaranteed with the earth wire correctly connected as required by current legislation in force. The appliance must be incorporated in the equipotential system. The screw is on the bottom of the right side (the serving side) and is clearly marked by a special symbol. 4 6) WATER CONNECTIONS INLET: The pressure in the main water supply must be between 50 and 500 Kpa, in the event the pressure is higher, a pressure reducer must be installed upstream from the appliance. OUTLET: ¾” attachments are used. In the event the outlet pipe needs extending, only heat resistant piping must be used with a fixed diameter of ¾”. The outlet pipe must flow into an open drain, to avoid polluting the appliance. 7) GENERAL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Please read these instructions carefully, as they give the basic safety, operating and maintenance instructions for the appliance. Before leaving the factory, the appliance underwent very strict tests and controls by our qualified staff. Any repair work that may be required must only be performed by qualified persons. We strongly recommend contacting the authorised centre where you purchased your appliance, giving clear details about the problem and the construction details given on the data plate, to ensure that precise and specific servicing assistance can be supplied. BAIN-MARIE UNITS The appliance must not be used unless there is sufficient water in the tank, as given in the instructions on page 11. HEATED GLASS TOPS WARNINGS: a) Should there be even the smallest sign of breakage in the heated surface, the appliance must be immediately disconnected from the mains and our service department should be contacted. b) The hardened glass surface must be protected against impact, knocks and violent mechanical and thermal stress. At the end of each day, the top must be carefully cleaned (refer to “CLEANING AND CARE”) to guarantee long life for the appliance. [. . . ] Introduce the support bars and fit the GN basin lids to speed up water heating; 1 hour is required to reach the required water temperature. Set the required temperature levels on the respective thermostats; 6. To maintain correct constant temperature levels for the dishes, we advise setting the thermostats as follows: 90°C for the tank and heated glass surface and 70°C for the heated cabinet; 7. The bain-marie units are designed for containing the dishes in GN basins measuring h= 150mm and h= 100mm; 8. [. . . ]
