REMOVING THE FILTER
1. Switch off the appliance and drain the water (see next paragraph “Draining residual water”). Place a tray or container beneath the cover. Slowly turn the filter anticlockwise without unscrewing it completely (using pliers to handle the filter grip makes screwing easier). Wait until all the water has drained off. Now unscrew the filter completely and remove it. Remove any foreign material from the filter. Insert the filter and screw it in clockwise firmly until it locks. Pour 1/2 litre of water into the detergent drawer and check that water does not leak from the filter. Check the filter two or three times a year and clean it if necessary. • Check the filter if the appliance is not draining properly or if it fails to perform spin cycles. • Remove the filter if the pump is blocked by an object (buttons, coins, safety pins, etc. ). IMPORTANT: Make sure the water has had time to cool before draining the appliance.
