Prefer to use a special liquid detergent for dark garments with this programme. At 40°C and 60°C most favourable programme in terms of combined water and energy consumption for washing cotton laundry. [. . . ] Terminate the “Rinse hold” option: • Press the “Start/Pause” button; the programme will terminate automatically with the final spin cycle for the present wash programme. • If you do not wish to spin the clothes, turn the programme selector knob to the “Drain” programme and press the “Start/Pause” button. “Spin” button • Every programme has a predefined spin speed. • Press the button to set different spin speed. • If spin speed “0” is selected, the final spinning is cancelled but intermediate spin peaks remain during rinse. The water is drained out only.
The indicator on the left is to show that the „Eco monitor“ is active. The four indicators next to it show the degree of consumption: the less power your programme setting is forecasted to consume, the less indicators will light up. This depends on the programme, temperature and options selected, and also on the size of the wash load. For that reason, the forecasted degree of power consumption may adapt when the washing machine detects the wash load.
“DOOR OPEN” INDICATION
Before starting and after end of a programme, the lamp lights to show the the door can be opened. As long as a wash programme is running, the door remains locked and must on no account be forced open. In case you have an urgent need to open it during a running programme, refer to “Reset” a running programme before the end”.
PROGRAMME START
Open the tap and press the “Start/Pause” button . ** To reduce the water temperature, some cold water is added at the end of the main wash cycle, before the pump drains the water out. *** Automatic adaptation of programme duration after detection of wash load
FAILURE INDICATION
In case of any failures or irregularities, consult the “Troubleshooting Guide” in your Instructions for Use. “Water tap closed”: no or not sufficient inlet water ”Service” : failure or malfunction of an electrical component ”Clean pump”: waste water is not pumped out. Spin speed on display blinks: unbalance during spinning.
LOAD LAUNDRY, ADD DETERGENTS AND SELECT THE PROGRAMME
Load the laundry, add detergent and turn the programme selector tothe desired programme and temperature; the “Start/Pause” indicator blinks. The spin speed shown on the display can be altered by pressing the “Spin” button If you do not start the programme soon after having made your choice, the washing machine will switch off automatically after about a quarter of an hour. To switch the washing machine on again, turn the programme selector to “Off/O” and afterwards to the desired programme again.
SELECT ANY DESIRED OPTION
When the combination of programme and additional option(s) is not possible, the indication switch off automatically. “Colours 15°” button • Saves energy used for water heating while maintaining a good wash result. • Supports colour maintenance when washing coloured laundry. • Recommendable for lightly soiled laundry without stains. • Make sure that your detergent is suitable for cold wash temperatures (15 or 20°C). • Not selectable for Cotton 95°C. [. . . ] • This option is particularly suitable for areas with very soft water, washing baby linen and helps people with allergies. “Easy ironing” button • Reduces creasing by an increased water quantity and a very gentle spin. “Rinse hold” button • The laundry remains in the last rinse water without pregressing to the final spin cycle to avoid creasing and prevent colours from changing.
PROGRAMME END
The “Door open” indicator lights up, and the display shows “End”. After about a quarter of an hour, the washing machine will switch off completely to save energy. [. . . ]
