Slightly soiled overalls and sportswear made of cotton, polyester, polyamide and blends with cotton. [. . . ] ** To reduce the water temperature, some cold water is added at the end of the main wash cycle, before the pump drains the water out. PREPARATION OF WASH CYCLE 1. Close the drum flaps and check that they are properly locked. Add detergents and additives into the dispenser to no more then the “MAX” level mark, as follows: • • • • • • Programme with pre and main wash Main wash programme without prewash Fabric softeners and conditioners Chlorine bleach Stain remover agents Anti-scale agents (if necessary) PRESS ANY DESIRED OPTION BUTTON(S) “Gentle Wash” button • In case of fragile or delicate linen, this option shortens the time for which the drum rotates. The linen is treated more delicately and creasing and crumpling are reduced. “No spin” button Especially for delicate garments to avoid wear and tear caused by the spin. Note: with the “Cotton” and “Synthetics” programmes a short spin cycle is provided in any case, even if the exclusion has been selected, in order to optimize rinsing results. “Half Load” button • Reduces the water consumption in the “Cotton” and “Synthetics” programmes especially during the rinse. • Especially suitable for lightly soiled or small loads (reduces the quantity of detergent). • Not suitable for high temperature programmes. “Rinse Hold” button • The laundry remains in the last rinse water, without progressing to the spin cycle to avoid creasing and prevent colours from changing. • This option is especially recommended for the “Synthetics” or “Delicate” programmes. • This option is perfectly suitable if you wish to postpone the spin or you don't wish to spin the clothes. Note: the programme selector stops on “ Terminate the “Rinse Hold” option. • Press the “Rinse Hold” button again; the programme will terminate automatically with the spin cycle corresponding to the previously selected wash programme. • If you do not wish to spin the clothes, switch off the appliance by pressing the “On/Off” button . Turn the programme selector to the “Drain” position and switch on the appliance. PROGRAMME START Open the water inlet tap and press the “On/Off” button . DOOR LOCK During the running programme, the door cannot be opened. The door locks automatically in all programmes. If the programme is stopped or if an electrical power failure occurs, the door unlocks automatically after about 1 minute. PROGRAMME END • The programme selector knob is at “STOP”, the pilot lamp lights. [. . . ] • Spinning has an interrupted start-up: the drum starts and stops running several times, to improve spin efficiency and to better balance the laundry. • At the end of the spinning cycle the drum goes on reversing for some minutes: this helps you unloading the laundry. • Do not exceed in detergents dosage: excessive foam formation may prevent spinning. • The turning of the drum is stopped in several steps of the washing cycle due to optimization of energy consumption. 3.
