Water and energy consumption values were measured in standard conditions in compliance with the Standard IEC 60 456. Individual consumption may vary in comparison with the values specified in the table, because of differences in supply water pressure and temperature, the load and the type of wash. • Especially suitable for lightly soiled or small loads (reduces the quantity of detergent). • Not suitable for high temperature programmes. “Rinse Hold” button • The laundry remains in the last rinse water, without progressing to the spin cycle to avoid creasing and prevent colours from changing. • This option is especially recommended for the “Synthetics” or “Delicate” programmes. • This option is perfectly suitable if you wish to postpone the spin or you don’t wish to spin the clothes. Terminate the “Rinse Hold” option • Press the “Rinse Hold” button again; the programme will terminate automatically with the spin cycle corresponding to the previously selected wash programme. • If you do not wish to spin the clothes, switch off the appliance by pressing the “On/Off” button. Turn the programme selector to the “Drain” position and switch on the appliance. PROGRAMME START Open the water inlet tap and press the On/Off button “ ”. The pilot lamp lights up. ADDING DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES Pour the detergent and additives into the respective compartments as follows: • Programme with pre and main wash • Main wash programme without prewash • Fabric softeners and starch • Bleach • Stain removers • Anti-scale agents (water hardness 4) Important Note: • Do not fill beyond the “MAX” level mark. • For programme with prewash: do not use liquid detergent. • For programmes without prewash from cold to 40° C, it is recommended to use a liquid detergent to avoid whitish residues on the coloured laundry. DOOR LOCK During the running programme, the door cannot be opened. The door locks automatically in all programmes. If the programme is stopped or if an electrical power failure occurs, the door unlocks automatically after about 1 minute. PROGRAMME END • 1. The programme selector knob is at “STOP”. Press the On/Off button “ ”. Cancel the options by pressing the appropriate buttons. Wait for the door to unlock (about 1 minute). [. . . ] Turn the temperature knob to the required temperature. Turn the spin speed knob to the required spin speed. PRESS ANY DESIRED OPTION BUTTON(S) “Intensive Rinse” button • The water level increases for improved rinsing efficiency. • This option is particularly suitable for areas with very soft water when washing baby linen and helps people with allergies.
