CATALYTIC CONVERTER • • • This model of oven is equipped with a catalytic converter designed to extract and filter any fumes that may be given off during cooking. The converter is also designed to reduce the intensity of certain typical cooking smells. To ensure maximum effectiveness of the catalytic converter, the oven door should be kept closed as far as possible while food is cooking. The catalytic converter cuts in automatically when the temperature at the centre of the oven rises above 130 °C approximately. The converter stops, likewise automatically, a few minutes after the oven is switched off.
