Cooking zone/keep-warm zone
The hob is marked out with 4 cooking zones and some models also feature a keep-warm zone. Each cooking zone has an adjustment switch on the electric oven. The lay-out and operation is described in the instructions manual provided with the oven.
Sensor buttons for the keep-warm zone
The ON/OFF button is positioned on the front edge of the hob, in front of the keep-warm zone. To switch on the keep-warm zone: - press button A, marked with the symbol check that LED A1 is lit up The red led of button will start flashing. If no other button is touched for 10 seconds, the keep-warm function is automatically disabled and switched OFF (led off). After enabling the keep-warm zone with button , touch button to switch on the keep-warm zone (red light remains on). To switch off the keep-warm zone, touch button again. Important: It is very important to keep the controls area (sensor buttons) dry, in order to prevent the keep-warm plate from switching off. The surface of the keep-warm zone reaches a temperature of around 100 °C. To install the glass ceramic hob with the keep-warm zone on the left, make sure that installation is carried out to the right, in combination with the oven. • Use pots and pans whose bottom diameter is equal to, or slightly larger than, that of the cooking zones. • Only use flat-bottomed pots and pans. • If possible, keep pot lids on when cooking. with little water in order to cut down cooking time. • A pressure cooker allows you to save even more energy and time.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Important: never clean the appliance with high pressure water or steam cleaning equipment. Use a suitable cloth or kitchen paper to clean the hob. Do not use abrasive powders or detergents, oven cleaning sprays, spot or rust removers, bleach, sponges with abrasive surfaces, or iron pan scourers. Clean the hob if possible after every use, when it is still warm or after it has cooled. Do not allow food residue to burn onto the hob. It is best to remove any food residue before it burns onto the surface, using the scraper provided, or a razor blade. [. . . ] Fully tighten the nut back onto the screw. Push the oven into the housing unit so that it is flush with the front and secure it at the sides using the 4 screws (supplied).
