BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME: • IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE READ THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS • REMOVE THE TRANSIT BOLTS BEFORE USING THE MACHINE FOR THE FIRST TIME • First wash cycle without laundry 1. Pour a little detergent (about 100 ml) into the detergent compartment . Select a short wash programme (see programme chart). This will remove any water remaining in the machine from the manufacturer's test run.

Set the temperature knob to the desired temperature. B For appliances WITHOUT temperature selector knob Turn the programme selector knob clockwise to the programme with the desired temperature. B A
PRESS THE DESIRED SPECIAL OPTION BUTTON
(Depending on model, see also the separate programme chart). Spin speed reduction button • Press this button to reduce the spin speed. No spin button • Press this button to exclude the spin function from the programme. Rinse hold/Spin delay button • The laundry remains in the last rinse water without being spun, to avoid heavy creasing. • Especially suitable for the “Synthetic” or “Delicate” programmes, if the laundry is not to be unloaded immediately after the end of the programme. Stopping Rinse hold Press the Rinse hold button again; the load will be spun according to the selected programme. Lightly soiled/Half load button • Reduces water consumption, above all during the rinse. • Especially suitable for lightly soiled or small loads (reduce the detergent quantity).
Cold wash button • The water is used at the water supply temperature. Intensive rinse button • The intensive rinse function is especially suitable for areas with particularly soft water, for baby linen and garments worn by allergy sufferers. • An additional 10 litres of water are used for rinsing the laundry. • Especially suitable for the "Cotton" 95°C or "Synthetic" 60°C programmes, since the wash water is cooled before being drained.

The door locks automatically after the programme start until the end of the programme. Wait for the door to unlock (about 2 minutes). Note: Do not fully close the door but leave it ajar to allow the drum to dry out.

• The programme sequence indicator is at “Stop”. Cancel the special options by pressing the appropriate buttons. Turn the water supply tap(s) off.
