The filter symbol can become red according to product use and the natural depletion of the filter charge. When a new filter is required, the the symbol on the display turns yellow (99% of filter life has been used). Important: The filter must only be replaced when the symbol on the display is red. At this point the filter cartridge must be replaced. Replace the filter cartridge, then press the RESET button until the system has reset with the symbol becoming green. Note: The RESET button does not work when the filter indicator light is green. Appliances with an ice maker or water dispenser must be connected to a water supply which delivers potable water only. Ice makers and/ or water dispensers not directly connected to a mains water supply must be filled with potable water only. CHANGING A WATER FILTER CARTRIDGE The water filter is situated under the freezer compartment door. Locate the water filter cartridge cap in the front base grille below the freezer compartment door. Rotate the cap counterclockwise to a vertical position and pull the cap and filter cartridge out through the base grille. • If you wish to store vegetables in the meat drawer, move the control all the way to the left to the vegetables setting. This avoids possible frost damage to the vegetables.
