Starting up the freezer
1. Warning If the digital indicator shows only an illuminated dot, press the freezer on/off button D. The digital indicator displays six horizontal lines After about 3 seconds, when the appliance is warm (internal temperature greater than 10°C) only the two lines in the middle remain illuminated; red light C illuminates and the acoustic alarm sounds. The acoustic alarm stops while the red light continues to flash. When the temperature reaches -12°C, the red light automatically stops flashing.
2. Press button G to mute the acoustic alarm. Allow the temperature on the digital indicator display to reach -12°C. Place the foods to be frozen and/ or those already frozen, in the freezer

The appliance is normally factory set to operate at the recommended temperature of -18°C.
