Protection against freezing If the appliance is placed in an area where there is a risk of freezing, it must be drained completely. For further information on the treatment, recovery and recycling of this appliance, contact your competent local authority, the collection service for household waste or the shop where you purchased the appliance. 11 HOW TO FILL THE SALT CONTAINER If the water hardness level is 1-2 (medium) or higher, before using the dishwasher, fill the salt container with regeneration salt (to find out the hardness level of water in your area, contact your local water supplier or check the last bill you received). The dishwasher is equipped with an electronic control system that allows the user to set the water softener in accordance with the hardness level of the water supply.
