To clean the grease filter The metal grease filter has an unlimited life and must be washed once a month by hand or dishwasher at low temperature and with a short cycle. IMPORTANT: do not use corrosive or abrasive detergents. If any of these products accidentally comes into contact with the appliance, clean immediately with a damp cloth. • Clean the surfaces with a damp cloth. If it is very dirty, add a few drops of washing up detergent to the water. Finish off with a dry cloth. ENGLISH 8 With cleaning in a dishwasher the grease filter may become dull; this does not effect its filtering capacity. Disconnect the hood from the power supply. Open the extraction grille or remove the self-supporting grease filter (in the latter case, wash the filter immediately). Remove the device securing the grease filter. After changing or washing the grease filter (depending on the model), refit by proceeding in reverse order, making sure it covers the entire extraction surface. 1. Disconnect the hood from the power supply. Open the extractor grille or remove the self-supporting grease filter. Fit the filter over the extraction motor protection grille so that the slots on the filter match the hooking pins located at the sides of the motor protection grille. Turn the charcoal filter clockwise to lock it (bayonet fixing). Make sure the internal selector “Extractor /Filter “ is set to “Filter “. Refit the extractor grille or grease filter. To remove the charcoal filter proceed in reverse order. Disconnect the hood from the power supply. Open the extractor grille or remove the self-supporting grease filter. Refit the extractor grille or grease filter. IMPORTANT: make sure you don’t touch the lamp with your hands. Charcoal filter maintenance (Recirculation hoods only).
