To switch off the refrigerator compartment: Press the refrigerator compartment “ON” button (1) - if provided - or set the knob (3) to Off. • • Store liquids in closed containers. Storing vegetables with a high water content can cause condensation to form in the crisper drawer; this will not affect the correct operation of the appliance. Using the refrigerator compartment Position the food as shown in the figure. HOW TO OPERATE THE FREEZER COMPARTMENT The freezer compartment, marked with the symbol can be used for freezing fresh and cooked food, making ice cubes and storing deep-frozen and frozen food products. How to switch on the freezer compartment For appliances with button panel (fig. 1): • Press the freezer compartment “ON” button (4). • The green LED (5) lights up, indicating operation of the freezer compartment. For appliances without button panel (fig. 2): • The freezer compartment switches on automatically when the appliance is plugged in. • To switch the freezer compartment off, set the knob to Off. To speed up the formation of ice cubes, place the ice-tray on the bottom of the lowest drawer (as illustrated) and not in the ice pack tray (if provided). If the tray sticks to the bottom of the compartment, do not use pointed or sharp instruments to free it. . • CARE AND MAINTENANCE Before carrying out any cleaning operations, unplug the appliance. • Clean the inside of the freezer compartment when defrosting. • Periodically clean the inside of the refrigerator compartment with a sponge moistened with warm water and/or neutral detergent.
