BEFORE USING THE REFRIGERATOR
Your new appliance is exclusively for domestic use. The freezer compartment can be used to deep freeze fresh and cooked food, make ice cubes, and for the storage of frozen and deepfrozen food. The refrigerator compartment, which has an automatic defrost feature, is used for the storage of fresh food and beverages. To get the most out of your new appliance, read the user handbook thoroughly. [. . . ] The temperature inside the box takes approximately one hour to stabilize.

Important: The temperature inside the “Freshbox” is dependent on the refrigerator compartment temperature. Therefore, if the temperature indicated for the box falls within section press button (B) ° C to increase the refrigerator temperature. Similarly, press button (B) ° C to lower the refrigerator temperature if the indicator falls within section “° C”. The temperature inside the “Freshbox” will correct itself automatically.

To use the refrigerator without the “Freshbox” proceed as follows (in accordance with the equipment supplied with your appliance, see Fig. Remove the “Freshbox” lid by releasing the two side clips on the front underside (see Fig. Press button (G) the button led will go out. To reinstate the “Freshbox” proceed as follows: 1. Position the “Freshbox” lid. Press button (G) the button lights up.

HOW TO USE THE FREEZER COMPARTMENT
The freezer compartment can be used for freezing fresh food. The quantity of fresh food that can be frozen in 24 hours is shown on the rating plate.
Freezing fresh food
Press the freeze button (E); the yellow led comes on and remains lit for the entire period. • If your appliance is equipped with a grid, position food to be frozen as indicated in Fig. 2, otherwise position food as illustrated in Fig. A Arrange the fresh food on the grid, leaving sufficient space around each pack for the air to circulate and avoiding contact with already frozen food (Fig. 2). B Arrange the food centrally in the compartment , ensuring it does not come into contact with already frozen food. Leave a space of about 20 mm around packages (Fig. the function switches off automatically and the yellow led for button (E) switches off. To cancel the function, press button (E) again. • The table alongside shows the recommended maximum storage time for frozen fresh foods.

HOW TO USE THE FREEZER COMPARTMENT
When purchasing frozen food products:
• ensure that the packaging is not damaged (frozen food in damaged packaging may have deteriorated). If the package is swollen or has damp patches, it may not have been stored under optimal conditions and defrosting may have already begun.
