[. . . ] The template's bottom edge represents the bottom edge of the hood; remember that with installation completed the bottom of the hood must be at least 50 cm above the cooktop in case of electric cookers and 75 cm in case of gas or mixed cookers. Place the support bracket on the hole diagram so that it matches the dotted rectangle, mark the two external holes and drill, remove the hole diagram, insert 2 wall plugs and fix the hood support bracket with two 5x45 mm screws. Adjust the distance between the hood and the wall. From the inside of the extraction unit, mark the holes for fixing the hood. [. . . ] Press and hold for at least 3 seconds, an acoustic signal will sound, resetting can only be carried out with the hood on. Extraction speed decrease button (1, 2, 3, P-intensive). Extraction speed increase button (P-intensive, 3, 2, 1). The intensive extraction speed appears on the left of the display with the letter P on the left and the remaining operation time in minutes (and the blinking dot) on the right; after 5 minutes, it automatically switches to extraction speed 2. Timer button: after selecting the required extraction speed, press this button to set the timing: Extraction speed 1: 20 minutes Extraction speed 2: 15 minutes Extraction speed 3: 10 minutes Intensive extraction speed (P): 5 minutes The remaining operation time and the blinking dot appear on the right. At the end of operation time, the hood switches off. Press again to disable the timer operation. Display: shows the selected extraction speed, grease filter (F) or carbon filter (C) saturation, Stand by mode (lighted dot) and control panel calibration (two blinking dots). The carbon filter saturation indicator is normally deactivated (for extractor version - see attached instructions manual). In order to activate it (for filter operation - see attached instructions manual), simultaneously press AND HOLD buttons 3 and 4 and wait until the letter C appears on the display. To deactivate the carbon filter saturation indicator, simultaneously press AND HOLD buttons 3 and 4: letter F will appear on the display, followed by C. For further information on the treatment, recovery and recycling of this product, contact the competent local office, the household waste collection service or the shop where you purchased the appliance. Electrical connection The mains power supply must match the voltage given on the dataplate located inside the hood. If provided with a plug, connect the hood to a socket complying with current regulations and located in an accessible area. If it does not have a plug (direct connection to the power supply) or if the socket is not in an accessible place, fit a suitable double-pole switch that ensures complete disconnection from the power supply in category III overvoltage conditions, complying with the installation rules. IMPORTANT: Before reconnecting the hood circuit to the power supply and checking correct operation, always make sure the power cable is correctly fitted and that it was NOT crushed in its housing during installation. Cleaning the hood Warning!Failure to remove oil/grease (at least once a month) could result in fire. Use a soft cloth with a neutral detergent. Never use abrasive substances or alcohol. Before using the hood To ensure best use of your hood, please read these instructions carefully and keep them for future reference. The packing materials (plastic bags, polystyrene parts, etc. ) are a potential source of danger and must be kept out of the reach of children. Make sure the hood was not damaged during transport. Troubleshooting guide The hood does not work: • Is the plug properly inserted in the power socket?The hood is not extracting enough: • Is the right speed selected? [. . . ] The discharge air must not be ducted in a flue used for removing fumes produced by appliances operating on gas or other fuels, but must have a separate outlet. All national regulations on air discharge must be observed. The hood is not a shelf, therefore do not overload or place objects on it.
