There must be a gap of at least 5 mm between the upper edge of the oven and the lower edge of the working surface. This gap must never be closed by strips or unit reinforcing pieces. When the oven is installed, make sure that the sides do not touch the front edges of the unit or the adjacent drawers and door (see picture).

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
• • Do not switch on the oven before connection is complete. Make sure that the installation and the electrical connection are made by a qualified engineer according to the manufacturer’s instructions and the local rules in force. [. . . ] Rotisserie The rotisserie comes supplied with a stand for the spit. To use the rotisserie: • Fit the spit stand in position in the oven. • Slide one of the forks on to the spit, followed by the food to be spit-roasted, then the second fork. Centre the food and secure in position by screw-tightening the two forks. • Brush the food with oil or softened butter. • Insert the tip of the spit in the turning square at the back of the oven. • Set the selector to the GRILL + ROTISSERIE position. Before closing the door, remove the heat-insulated handle from the spit by unscrewing.

OVEN COOKING FUNCTIONS

Defrosting function
This function is used to speed up the natural defrosting of frozen foods. It can also be used to cool hot dishes which are to be eaten cold or lukewarm.
Turbogrill function (Grill with fan) Roast meats, meat on the bone, fish This method is particularly suitable for cooking meat so that it is done but still succulent. Also for more succulent fish: turn after half the cooking time. During grilling, some parts of the appliance can become hot: children must be kept away. Grill function
Gratins and grilled dishes For this cooking method, the door must be kept closed, including for grilled dishes. If the food is placed directly on the rack, place the drip tray underneath, to collect dripping juices. During grilling, some parts of the appliance can become hot: children must be kept away.
Pastry function (Static+fan) Cakes and pastries, quiches, fruit pies This cooking method is ideal for: - Fine pastry cooking, to prevent drying out. - Fruit pies and quiches which have to be browned on the top and bottom. This function can be used for simultaneous cooking on different levels: change the dishes round halfway during the cooking time. Fan function
Volailles, tartes, poultry, pies This function can be used for cooking different dishes simultaneously on two or three levels without crossover of odour or flavour. The dishes are evenly browned and are tender and succulent. The function can also be used for rapid defrosting at 50° C.
Grill + Rotisserie function
Roast meats, poultry Cooking on the rotisserie is a very useful for succulent, uniform cooking of poultry and meats. When the grill is in use, some parts of the appliance can become hot: children must be kept away.
Booster function
This function permits a quick heating up of the oven. When the selected temperature has been reached, it automatically becomes the conventional function .
Static function
Pastries, quiches, roast meats, poultry -Pre-heat the oven to the cooking temperature, so that the dishes start to cook as soon as they put in the oven. - Put the dish in the oven as soon as the thermostat light goes off. [. . . ] If the pilot light is on, wait until it switches off.
TROUBLE-SHOOTING GUIDE
