Temperature adjustment
You can adjust freezer temperature as follows: • Turn the thermostat knob x to position e to set the highest (least cold) storage temperature. • Turn the thermostat knob x to position 5 to set the lowest (coldest) storage temperature. • When the freezer is only partially full, it is advisable to set the thermostat to lower positions (towards position “e”, if indicated on the thermostat scale).

• • • • • • • Do not install the appliance in places exposed to direct sunlight or near heat sources. Do not obstruct the ventilation grille or the air circulation openings. Remove accumulated dust from the rear of the appliance at least once a year. Use the thermostat to select the ideal storage temperature. Restrict the number of times you open the lid. Make sure the ice layer does not build up to more than 5–6 mm thick.

Before cleaning or carrying out maintenance, always unplug the appliance or switch off the power supply. The power cable must only be replaced by authorised personnel.

Food must be fresh, mature and of prime quality in order to obtain high quality frozen food. Fresh vegetables and fruit should preferably be frozen as soon as they are picked to maintain the full original nutritional value, consistency, colour and flavour.
