Respect the best-before date on the package. • Always observe the storage information on the package. 7 HOW TO CLEAN THE REFRIGERATOR COMPARTMENT Defrosting of the refrigerator compartment is completely automatic. Droplets of water on the rear wall of the refrigerator compartment indicate that the periodic automatic defrost cycle is in progress. The defrost water is routed to a drain outlet and into a container from which it evaporates. Clean the defrost water drain outlet regularly using the tool supplied with the appliance. This precaution ensures that defrost water is removed correctly from the interior of the refrigerator compartment. • Clean the interior with a sponge and warm water and/or neutral detergent. • Rinse the interior and dry with a soft cloth. • Also see “Maintenance and Cleaning”. . HOW TO CLEAN THE NO FROST LOW TEMPERATURE COMPARTMENT The No Frost low temperature compartment does not require defrosting. Before any maintenance or cleaning operation, unplug the appliance or disconnect the mains power supply. For necessary cleaning: • if possible wait until the low temperature compartment is nearly empty. • place foodstuffs in an insulated cool bag and keep in a cool place. • clean the walls with a sponge soaked in warm water and/or neutral detergent. • plug in the appliance again.
