[. . . ] If you select the special function “Rinse Hold” do not leave garments to soak for too long. Silk and other textiles, which are labelled with “Handwash”. For improved garment care the spin speed is restricted to 400 rpm. For no spin, select the option “Rinse Hold”. Prewash cycle increases programme duration by 5 to 20 min. Consumption values were measured in normalized conditions in compliance with Standard IEC 60 456. Consumption data in the home may vary with respect to the values in the table in relation to the water supply pressure and temperature, the load and the type of wash. *The remaining time indicator can similarly deviate from the values in the table, because it takes into account the household conditions applicable at that time. **To reduce the water temperature, some cold water is added at the end of the main wash cycle, before the pump drains the water out.
ADDING DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES
Add the detergent and the additives into the dispenser as follows: • Programme with pre and main wash • Main wash programme without prewash • Fabric softeners and conditioners • Chlorine bleach • Stain remover agents • Anti-scale agents (water hardness 4) Important: • Be careful not to fill more than the “MAX” level mark. • For programme with pre-wash: do not use liquid detergents. • For programmes without prewash from cold to 40° C it is recommended to use a liquid detergent to avoid whitish residues on the coloured laundry. • With a Start delay, use a dose aid for liquid detergent, placed directly in the drum.
PROGRAMME START
Open the tap and press the Start/Pause button “ ”. The pilot lamp of the “ ” button lights up. The indicator lamps show the sequence reached in the programme. After starting the programme, the sequence indication runs from left to right through Wash “ ”, Rinse “ ”, Spin “ ”. When the sequence of the programme is finished the corresponding lamps goes out.
DOOR LOCK
During the running programme the door can be opened for adding further laundry. The door locks automatically in all rinsing and spinning cycles. If the programme is stopped or the electrical power supply is terminated, the door lock will open after approximately 1 minute.
CLOSE THE DOOR AND SELECT THE PROGRAMME
1. Turn the programme selector knob to the desired programme with its predefined temperature. • The remaining time display “ ” shows the duration of the chosen programme (in hours and minutes) and the Start/Pause button “ ” is flashing. The programme sequence and the predefined spin speed indication corresponding to the selected programme lights up.
