FAN WITH A BUTTON
The fan improves temperature distribution inside the refrigerator compartment, allowing better preservation of stored food. It is advisable to keep the fan active, so that the "Fresh Control" / "ProFresh" function can work and also when the ambient air temperature is over 27 ÷ 28°C or if you perceive drops of water on the glass shelves or in the severe humidity conditions. Note Do not obstruct the air intake area with food items. When "Fresh Control" / "ProFresh" is disabled remember to turn off the fan when there is a lower ambient air temperature. To turn off the fan press the button (1a). If the appliance has the fan it can be equipped with the antibacterial filter. Remove it from the box (found in the crisper drawer (item 7) and insert into the cover of fan (item 1b). The replacement procedure is attached with the filter.
The following factors are vital for the "Zero Degrees" box to work properly: - the refrigerator compartment must be switched on - the temperature of the refrigerator compartment must be between +2°C and +5°C - the box must be inserted to enable activation - no special functions must have been selected (Standby, Cooling-Off, Vacation – where applicable). To deactivate it earlier follow the procedure: - Press and hold by 3 sec. °C again while the LED (2) remains ON - the temperature selection lights will return to previous displayed temperature setpoint. Reset alarm If any alarm appears, the user could reset the acoustical sound by pressing once Reset alarm pushbutton. "Black-out alarm" (power supply failure) - in case of power failure, the appliance automatically monitors the temperature changes in the freezer compartment after the power supply returns. The "Black-out alarm" will activate, if the temperature has risen above the admissible level. This is indicated by: - Flashing of the green LED (2) - Activation of a beep. When the "Black-out alarm" is actived, it is recommended to proceed as follows: - If the food in the freezer is not frozen but is still cold, transfer it promptly to the refrigerator compartment and consume within 24 hours. - If the food in the freezer is frozen, it has re-frozen after thawing caused by the power failure. The consumption
of re-frozen food is not recommended because it has lost its nutritive value and may be hazardous to your health. Note The "Black-out alarm" does not guarantee the food quality and its safety in case of consumption. It only indicates the necessity to assess the quality of food in the freezer and refrigerator compartments. [. . . ] When this operation is released, the LEDs will flash until the fault is eliminated. If any alarm shown in the table occurs, the fridge/freezer functions such as temperature adjustment, super freezing are not available until the fault is eliminated. When several alarms occur simultaneously, the alarm with the highest priority is displayed (Number 1 being the highest priority).
