[. . . ] Reaching inside the terminal block opening, screw the removable conduit connector (A) onto the strain relief threads. Direct wire cable must have 5 ft. (1. 52 m) of extra length so dryer may be moved if needed. Strip 5" (127 mm) of outer covering from end of cable, leaving bare ground wire at 5" (127 mm). Cut 11/2" (38 mm) from remaining 3 wires. Attach direct wire cable to strain relief 2. Prepare to connect neutral ground wire and neutral wire E B A Put direct wire cable through the strain relief. The strain relief should have a tight fit with the dryer cabinet and be in a horizontal position. Tighten strain relief screw against the direct wire cable. Remove center, silver-colored terminal block screw (B). Remove neutral ground wire (E) from external ground conductor screw (A). Remove center, silver-colored terminal block screw (B). 5. connect neutral wire B C Place hooked ends of remaining direct wire cable wires under outer terminal block screws (hooks facing right). Squeeze hooked ends together and tighten screws. Finally, reinsert tab of terminal block cover into slot of dryer rear panel. now, go to Venting Requirements. Place hooked end of neutral wire (white or center) (C) of direct wire cable under center terminal block screw (B), hook facing right. connect neutral ground wire and neutral wire B E C Place hooked ends of remaining direct wire cable wires under outer terminal block screws (hooks facing right).
