[. . . ] Barking Dog is an innovative and yet attractively simple product that provides both - it barks when an intruder approaches and switches on lights a few seconds later, just as the owner would if he were there. It also turns lamps on at dusk and off at dawn while the owner is away. Conventional burglar alarm systems are very effective; but, they do have one drawback: the intruder has already forced the door or entered the home by the time the alarm is triggered.
