Safety precautions Radio frequency emissions
WARNING: This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy. It may cause radio interference to radio communications if not installed according to the installation instructions. [. . . ] This option allows you to select the Default Emulation mode in which jobs should print when you encounter an MCK reset command. The selections are NRZ (nonreturn to zero) and NRZI (non return to zero inverted). The selection must correspond to the method of code transmission from the host computer system. This dialog allows you to enter an SDLC address and a 3digit Terminal IDBLK followed by a threedigit terminal ID. The XPAF LPS uses a three digit Terminal ID for 3777 mode. This dialog selects the number (from 1 to 7) of SDLC frames that you can send to the XPAF LPS before acknowledgment and line turnaround are necessary.

Table 66 lists the serial system configuration asynchronous options. If you choose to use an asynchronous serial interface, complete Checklist 12: Serial system configuration asynchronous (figure 67). Your Xerox service representative uses the checklist during installation. Note: The asynchronous interface is not supported for XPPM. Settings Port configuration Options (defaults appear bold) 1st interface 2nd interface Serial system configuration optionsasynchronous Description Select the 2nd interface. A threestop process is used to configure the port: 1. Enable or disable the Line Printer Mode. Note: One port must be configured for parallel.
