Dispersion Module Option The Xtant Slim Components offer two tweeter dispersion modules for flexibility in mounting position. The smaller module allows for a wider dispersion of sound where as the larger option narrows the dispersion field thereby giving a more direct sound pattern. Both options are provided to meet your listening needs. Wiring the Driver and Crossover It is important to use good quality speaker wire when installing speakers. Additionally, a tight connection is very important in speaker installations. A loose connection can cause a speaker to cut in and out or become distorted and harsh. A 12db per octave two-way crossover is included in the Xtant Slim Components. When using the A1040 crossover with these speakers, run a positive and negative speaker lead from the amplifier (if no external amplifier, use speaker outputs from source unit) to the input section of the crossover.
