Port will accept any of the modules, while the ports labeled Vert will only accept modules designed for vertical mounting. Simply remove the port jumpers and plug the module in vertically. Be sure to observe the orientation of the "keyed" right angled header connector before attempting to insert the CM12L onto a port tower.
