Shift into Neutral before starting engines. Never start the engine or let it run any length of time in an enclosed area. Exhaust fumes contain carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless gas that may cause loss of consciousness and death within a short time. Always operate the boat in an open area. 3 FT (90 CM) 1) Always make sure the boat is launched and used in waters that are free from weeds and debris, and at least 3 ft. (90 cm) deep. WARNING Never operate in water that is less than 3 ft. You increase your chance of hitting an underwater obstacle. Pebbles or sand can also be sucked into the jet (water) intake, damaging the impeller. CAUTION: There is a hull drain plug at the bottom of the stern in the center. Install the cord clip onto the engine shut-off switch by pushing the clip groove over the nut beneath the knob.
