Failure to follow WARNING instructions could result in severe injury or death to the machine operator, a bystander, or a person inspecting or repairing the boat.
CAUTION:
A CAUTION indicates special precautions that must be taken to avoid damage to the boat. [. . . ] Check throttle, shift, and steering for proper operation before starting the engine. Shift into Neutral before starting engines. Never start the engine or let it run any length of time in an enclosed area. Exhaust fumes contain carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless gas that may cause loss of consciousness and death within a short time. Always operate the boat in an open area.

1) Always make sure the boat is launched and used in waters that are free from weeds and debris, and at least 3 ft. (90 cm) deep.
WARNING
Never operate in water that is less than 3 ft. You increase your chance of hitting an underwater obstacle. Pebbles or sand can also be sucked into the jet (water) intake, damaging the impeller.
CAUTION:
There is a hull drain plug at the bottom of the stern in the center. Be sure it is securely tightened before launching the boat.

NOTE: Before the first start-up, remove the fuel tank filler cap to release any built-up pressure in the tank because of fuel expansion.

2) Attach the engine shut-off cord to your PFD. Install the cord clip onto the engine shut-off switch by pushing the clip groove over the nut beneath the knob. For the hour of operation after that, keep the engine speed below 8, 000 rpm. 3) Proceed with normal operation.

Read all warning and caution labels on your boat. This boat is designed to carry one operator and up to nine passengers, as long as the total weight of people and cargo does not exceed 1800 lb. Never have more than ten people in the boat.
