Take the snare pad (q) and the S wing bolt (w) from the package and lightly tighten the S wing bolt (w). Slide the pad (q) onto the tom holder or hexagonal bolt (e) from the rack or tom stand, and then tighten the S wing bolt (w) to secure it in place. CAUTION If the wing bolt and other fasteners are not sufficiently tightened, your pad may fall, possibly causing injury. It is important, therefore, that you mount your pad securely on the drum rack or stand. In addition, you should avoid placing your rack or stand on an uneven surface as this may cause it to fall over, again increasing the risk of injury.
