Your. Silent. Guitar. will. give. you. years. of. reliable. service. if. you. follow. the. simple. rules. given. below:

Do not expose it to the following conditions to avoid deformation,  discoloration,  or more serious damage. near a heat source,  outside,  or in a car during the daytime). · Never dismantle the batteries and never dispose batteries in fire. · Never touch any fluid that may leak from the battery. If the fluid should come in contact with the eyes,  mouth,  or skin,  wash immediately with water and consult a doctor. 

 Turn. Power. OFF. When. Making. Connections
· To avoid damage to the Silent Guitar and other devices to which it is connected (a sound system,  for example),  turn the power switches of all related devices OFF prior to connecting or disconnecting audio cables. 

 Power. Supply

· Turn the power switch OFF when not in use. · If you use an AC power adaptor,  unplug the adaptor from the AC outlet if not to be used for an extended period of time. · If you use an AC power adaptor,  make sure that the AC outlet you are using is easily accessible. · Do not install this equipment in a confined space such a book case or similar unit. · If some trouble or malfunction occurs,  immediately turn off the power switch and unplug the adaptor from the outlet. Before using the instrument,  please properly attach the left frame using the procedure described below.

Fully loosen [frame attachment screw 1] located in the area behind the 12th fret,  and [frame attachment screw 2] located at the end of the Silent Guitar's main body. Insert the lower rod of the left frame fully into the bracket hole on the Silent Guitar's main body. Next,  insert the upper rod fully into the bracket hole.

q First,  inser t the lower rod into the main body. When. the. AC. adaptor. is. used, . the. batteries. may. leak. . To. prevent. leakage. we. recommend. that. you. remove. the. batteries. from. the. instrument. . When. the. AC. adapter. is. used. . . When. using. an. AC. adaptor, . make. sure. you. use. only. one. of. the. following. recommended. adaptors. (Recommended. Adaptors:. PA-D012(A), . PA-130(A), . PA-D09, . PA-3C). . The. use. of. any. other. adaptor. may. result. in. damage. to. the. instrument. or. cause. fire, . etc. . Please. use. with. caution. 

. Installing. the. Battery

Be sure to use a 9-volt alkaline battery 6LR61. When. using. a. battery, . please. use. an. alkaline. battery. . Use. of. a. manganese. battery. will. result. in. an. extremely. shorter. battery. life. depending. upon. the. type. of. battery. used.

Using the Controls
. Using. the. LINE. OUT. jack. (Using. with. a. guitar. amplifier. or. powered. speaker, . etc. )

Use a standard phone plug cable to connect the Silent Guitar's LINE OUT jack to the input jack on the guitar amplifier or powered speaker,  etc. When the cable's plug is inserted into the LINE OUT jack,  power will be supplied to the Silent Guitar and the power lamp will light.
