Connections · To avoid damage to the Silent Guitar and other devices to which it is connected (a sound system, for example), turn the power switches of all related devices OFF prior to connecting or disconnecting audio cables. Power. Supply · Turn the power switch OFF when not in use. · If you use an AC power adaptor, unplug the adaptor from the AC outlet if not to be used for an extended period of time. · If you use an AC power adaptor, make sure that the AC outlet you are using is easily accessible. · Do not install this equipment in a confined space such a book case or similar unit. · If some trouble or malfunction occurs, immediately turn off the power switch and unplug the adaptor from the outlet. · This product is not disconnected from the AC power source as long as the adaptor is connected to the outlet, even if the power switch is turned off. · Unplug the AC power adaptor during electric storms. · Avoid plugging the AC power adaptor into the same AC outlet as appliances with high power consumption, such as electric heaters or ovens. Also avoid using multi-plug adaptors since these can result in reduced sound quality and possible damage. The. pickup. sensor. is. set. into. the. bridge. underneath. the. saddle. . Thread the string through the corresponding string hole on the bridge, then tie the string as shown in the illustration below. Power Supply The Silent Guitar operates either on battery power or with an AC adaptor however, it will consume more power when the reverb function is in use. For that reason, we recommend that it be powered with the supplied AC power adaptor for normal use. Always turn the PHONES ON/OFF switch OFF before making AC power connections or replacing the battery. 2. Plug the adaptor's DC output cable into the Silent Guitar's DC IN jack, making sure the plug is firmly inserted into the jack. Plug the AC adaptor into a convenient wall AC power socket. ·. [. . . ] When. the. guitar. is. not. being. used, . disconnect. the. cable's. plug. to. save. battery. 2. 3. Rotate the VOLUME knob while playing, and adjust the volume to a suitable level. ·.
