For details about installing and using the CD writing software, refer to the documentation that comes with the CD writing software. 8 Preparing the CRW8824 Drive Serial Number The serial number is printed on the label on the bottom of your CRW8824 drive. When you have a question about the drive or need user support services, the serial number is required. Please write the serial number down in the space below. It may be difficult to check the serial number after setting up the drive or for any other reason. Serial number (10 characters: 3 letters + 7 numbers) Serial Number 1 Set up the CRW8824 Drive Prior to connecting the CRW8824 drive to the computer, set up the following using the dip switch on the rear panel of the drive. For details about how to install CD writing software, refer to the documentation that comes with it. 19 Loading/Ejecting a Disc Prior to the operation, check that the CRW8824 drive is turned on. 1 Open the disc tray by pressing the eject button.
