Replace the lid. · To prevent unwanted damage to the instrument and external audio equipment make sure that the volume is turned down on the PortaTone and any external audio devices and, all devices are turned off before making any connections. · Replace Worn Batteries as Soon as Possible. When the batteries run low and the battery voltage drops below a certain level, the instrument may not sound or function properly. As soon as this happens, replace them with a complete set of four new "AA" size batteries. · When the VOICE Dial is set to "ONE TOUCH SETTING: variation 1", the same voice as the Song's melody will automatically be selected. Tempo Control Press the TEMPO v button to increase the song's speed. Press the TEMPO w button to decrease the song's speed. ROCK · If you want to set the tempo back to its original default setting, press both TEMPO buttons v/w simultaneously. · Holding down either the v or the w TEMPO button will continuously increase or decrease the speed.
