When disassembling the master cylinder or caliper cylinder, replace the brake fluid. Normally check the brake fluid level and add the fluid as required. On the inner parts of the master cylinder and caliper cylinder, replace the oil seals every two years. Replace the brake hose every four years, or if cracked or damaged. @ 8-3 ESU00376 Tool kit The owner's tool kit has the tools which are sufficient for most periodic maintenance and minor repair. A torque wrench is also necessary to properly tighten nuts and bolts. 1 Tool kit CAUTION: @ Before starting the engine, make sure that the tool kit is firmly seated in the holder and is closed securely. @ NOTE: @ If you do not have a torque wrench available during a service operation requiring one, take your snowmobile to a Yamaha dealer to check the torque settings and adjust them if necessary. @ ESU00368 Spark plug inspection The spark plug is an important engine component and is easy to inspect.
