This will prevent it from becoming a death-trap for a child. 2 Location The appliance should be installed well away from sources of heat such as radiators, boilers, direct sunlight etc. Best performance is obtained with ambient temperature between +18°C and +43°C (class T); +18°C and +38°C (class ST); +16°C and +32°C (class N); +10°C and +32°C (class SN). D162 D185 B D473 Fig. 5 5 USE Start-up - temperature regulation After plugging the appliance, turn the thermostat knob located at the top right of the fridge, clockwise to the required position (apart from position «O» - off). Temperature is kept constant automatically and can be increased by turning the knob to lower numbers, or reduced by turning it to higher numbers. Proper setting is achieved by keeping in mind that the temperature inside the fridge depends on the following factors: room temperature; number of times the door is opened; quantity of food stored; location of the appliance. To turn the appliance off, set the thermostat knob to «O». [. . . ] 10 D113 Storage of frozen food The compartment is also suitable for the storage of frozen foods; in this case follow these simple rules: Turn the thermostat knob to the coldest setting (if the room temperature is lower than 20°C it is necessary to arrange the baffleplate so as to obtain a higher temperature in the refrigerating compartment). Remember that, in this condition, the refrigerating compartment temperature might drop below 0°C. If this occurs reset the thermostat knob to a warmer setting.
