Location
Place the appliance as far away as possible from sources of heat, e. g. radiators, heaters, direct sunlight, etc. . The best results are achieved with a room temperature ranging from +18°C to +43°C. Make sure that there is nothing at the back, at the top and at the bottom of the appliance to obstruct air circulation. For a more efficient operation of the appliance the minimum distance between the top of the appliance and other overhanging kitchen furniture, if any, should be at least 100 mm (Fig. 1-B (without overhanging kitchen furniture). The appliance sides may also be in contact with the kitchen furniture, provided that air can circulate free in the rear and top part. One or more adjustable feet mounted on the base of the appliance make it possible to set it perfectly level. Before plugging in the appliance to the mains socket, check that the voltage and frequency indicated on the appliance's rating plate are the same as those provided by your home power supply. In that case, wait for the natural fitting of the gasket or accelerate this process by heating up the part involved with a normal hairdrier.

USE
Start-up - temperature regulation
After plugging the appliance, turn the thermostat knob located at the top right of the fridge, clockwise to the required position (apart from position «O» off). Temperature is kept constant automatically and can be increased by turning the knob to lower numbers, or reduced by turning it to higher numbers. Proper setting is achieved by keeping in mind that the temperature inside the fridge depends on the following factors: room temperature; number of times the door is opened; quantity of food stored; location of the appliance. To turn the appliance off, set the thermostat knob to «O». In this refrigerator the refrigerating compartment temperature may be regulated not only by using the thermostat but also by operating on the baffleplate placed under the evaporator (Fig. 6
Refrigeration of food
The refrigerator compartment is used to store foods and drinks. For best results, see the following rules: do not put warm foods or evaporating liquids in the refrigerator; cover or wrap foods (particularly if they have a strong smell or contain aromatic herbs); do not cover the shelves with paper or plastic since this blocks circulation of air in the compartment. Moreover: cooked foods, cold dishes, jelly, etc. should be covered and can be stored on any shelf. fruit & vegetables: these should be thoroughly cleaned and placed in the bottom salad crisper. [. . . ] Make sure that the frozen foods have been correctly stored by the retailer. Make sure that the interval between the time when you buy the frozen foods and when you put them in the freezer is short. Do not exceed the dates of expiry marked on the packages by the manufacturer. After a period when the appliance is not used, make it run for at least two hours with the thermostat knob turned to the coldest setting before placing the frozen foods in it. [. . . ]
