Electrical connection Before plugging the appliance into a socket make sure that the voltage and frequency shown on the rating plate correspond to your home supply. It is essential that the appliance be connected to an efficient earth tap. For this purpose the supply cable plug incorporates a special earth contact. It will also depend on the food quality in the moment of freezing and on the specific instructions on packages. 8 MAINTENANCE OF YOUR REFRIGERATOR-FREEZER Prior to undertaking any maintenance operation, be sure to unplug the aplliance Defrosting of the freezer The inner walls of the freezer become gradually covered with a layer of frost keeping in mind not to open the door frequently and keeping the food wrapped up in closed bags.
