Depending upon the position which you choose for your appliance, you may wish to reverse the way in which the door opens. To do this, refer to instructions under Door reversal. Movable shelves The walls of the refrigerator have runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired . For better use of space, the front half-shelves can lie over the rear ones. D338 Bottle rack Important It must be possible to disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply; the plug must therefore be easily accessible after installation. Place bottles in the rack with the bottleneck to the front. Important: Only store unopened bottles horizontally. The bottle rack can be tilted for storing opened bottles. To do this pull the bottle rack forward until it can be tilted upwards, then slide the front support into the next level up. Positioning This appliance should only be installed at a location where the ambient temperature corresponds to the climate classification indicated on the rating plate, which is located on the inside left of the appliance. The following table shows which ambient temperature is correct for each climate classification. Positioning the door shelves To permit storage of food packages of various sizes, the door shelves can be adjusted in height. To do this proceed as shown in the diagram. D007 The top shelf can be removed for easier cleaning. 18 D009 7 Drink dispenser The container for cooling drinks is located in the door of the fridge. It is easily removed from its runners for filling and cleaning by pushing it upwards from the left side and then by pulling sharply outwards. To pour a drink, press a glass upwards against the tap arms. To stop the flow of liquid remove the glass. Before using the dispenser, we recommend that you rinse it several times with hot water. [. . . ] For complete defrosting (once or twice a year) proceed as follows: turn the thermostat control knob to the OFF position (O) or disconnect the appliance from the mains. Remove any food from inside the freezer and fridge, wrap it in several sheets of newspaper and store in a cool/dry place. - Leave the door open and insert the ice scraper under the channel in the centre of the lower part of the appliance; place a low-sided container beneath the scraper to collect the water. - Replace the scraper in one of the drawers .
