Ensure that you understand them all before installing or using this appliance. If you are unsure of the meanings of these warnings contact the Customer Care Department. Installation · · · This appliance is heavy. It is dangerous to alter the specifications or attempt to modify this product in any way. [. . . ] The following guidelines should assist you. Ice Cream: Once thawed should be discarded. Fruit and Vegetables: If soft should be cooked and used up. Bread and Cakes: Can be refrozen without danger. Shellfish: Should be refrigerated and used up quickly. casseroles, should be refrigerated and used. Large Pieces of Meat: Can be re-frozen providing there are ice crystals remaining within them. Small Joints: Should be cooked and then re-frozen as cooked dishes. Chicken: Should be cooked and re-frozen as a fresh dish. · · · · · · Energy Saving Advice · · Do not install the cabinet close to sources of heat, such as a cooker, dishwasher or radiator. Locate the appliance in a cool well ventilated room and make sure that the air openings of the cabinet are not obstructed. Avoid unnecessary frosting in the cabinet by packing all foodstuffs into airtight packages before placing them in the freezer. Freezer Compartment Remove the hexagonal nut retaining the bulb cover. Unscrew the old bulb and replace with a 220-240 Volt, 40W bulb with an E27 screw thread. Ice & Water Dispenser Unscrew the old bulb and replace with a 220-240 Volt, 7W bulb with an E14 screw thread. Important The Storage bin should be removed if: · A power failure causes the ice in the machine to melt and then refreeze, as they may cause the ice making mechanism to jam when the power is resumed. Do not put fingers up the ice chute, there may be sharp edges. DO NOT rotate the spiral rod, when replacing the ice bin. To realign the spiral rod, rotate it in 90o turn until the ice bin fits into place with the driver mechanism. · 9 External Cleaning Do not use abrasive products. There may be sharp edges on the underside of the product so care should be taken when cleaning. Wipe the outer cabinet with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Stainless Steel Doors Wipe the stainless steel doors with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Clean any stubborn marks with an ammonia soaked paper towel and rinse and dry. [. . . ] Remove the base grille by pulling it straight out. Adjust the casters by turning the adjusting bolt with a spanner until the refrigerator is level and stable. If the freezer door is higher than the refrigerator door, raise the right corner and/or lower the left corner until the doors align across the top of the cabinet. If the refrigerator door is higher than the freezer door, raise the left corner and/or lower the right corner until the doors align cross the top of the cabinet. Check both doors to ensure that the seals touch the cabinet on all sides. Replace the bottom grille by lining up the retainers with the holes and pushing the grille straight on. [. . . ]
